Orlando and Central Florida

Joie Jae Photo Booth Rental

An open-air booth, an attendant who stays for the whole event, and every photo delivered to you afterwards. Weddings, corporate events, graduations and parties across Central Florida.

Open air, not a curtained box

An open-air booth points the camera at a backdrop instead of hiding people inside an enclosure. A group of 8 fits in one photo. Everyone else in the room can see what is happening, which is most of the reason a queue forms at all.

It also looks like something you chose. The booth, the backdrop and the prop table are part of your room rather than a black cabinet parked against a wall.

What comes with every rental

Nothing on this list is an upsell. Prints are the only thing charged separately, and only if you want them.

The open-air booth

An open-air setup rather than a curtained box, so a group of 8 fits in the shot and the booth looks like part of your room instead of a shed in the corner. Available as a slim kiosk-only setup or as a full booth with a tri-fold enclosure.

A wall of shimmer backdrops

Black, champagne, silver, pink, light gold, gold, rose gold, baby blue, navy, iridescent aqua, purple, white, ivory, burgundy and more. Bringing your own backdrop or using a wall you already love is also fine, and the price stays the same either way.

Props chosen to match your event

Several styles, so a graduation does not get wedding signs. Stylish sunglasses, elegant signs and fun hats, and you pick the set that suits your event when you book. Deluxe hats and shades can be added on top.

An on-site attendant, always

Someone is with the booth for your whole rental. They keep the queue moving, help anyone who is unsure, and make sure the props end the night in better shape than a table left unattended.

Instant prints, if you want them

Physical 4’’ x 6’’ prints are an add-on rather than something you pay for by default. There is a standard printer and a high-speed one, each with a choice of print volume, so a 100-guest birthday and a 300-guest wedding are not quoted the same way.

Your full digital gallery

Every photo, delivered digitally after the event, in full quality. Guests can take theirs home from the booth on the night as well.

Every kind of event

Weddings

Booth time starts at 3 hours and goes up to 5, so most couples put it where the room is busiest: cocktail hour, or the stretch of the reception after dinner. It gives the guests who do not dance something to do. Pairs naturally with the video guestbook at the same station.

Corporate events

The most common event type in our own booking records. Holiday parties, launches, conferences and staff appreciation nights, with backdrops that suit a branded room.

Graduations

Its own prop style, and the photographs end up being the ones the family actually keeps. Seasonal, so dates in the spring go early.

Showers and birthdays

Bridal showers, baby showers and milestone birthdays. Smaller rooms suit the kiosk-only setup, which needs less floor than the full booth with its enclosure.

What it costs

A photo booth rental starts at $450, including delivery, setup, the on-site attendant, breakdown and your full digital gallery. Adding the video guestbook to the same booking brings the pair to $550.

Prints, extra hours, hats and shades are add-ons you choose. Travel within 30 miles of East Orlando is included, and a standard fee of $1 per mile applies beyond it. You see every figure in the booking form before anything is due.

Build Your Booking

Questions people ask before booking

How much space is needed for the setup?

We recommend a 10’ x 10’ space to give enough room for the backdrop, the booth, props, printer (if the add-on is selected) and for guests to gather comfortably. We can adapt to some smaller spaces (minimum 8’ x 8’) if necessary. Tell us about your room when you book and we will suggest the setup that fits it.

Is a power outlet needed?

Usually not. Our setup runs on its own internal power for events up to 4 hours. For anything longer we will ask for a standard 120V outlet within 15 feet. We bring our own extension cords and cable covers, so nothing is left trailing across your floor.

How long do you stay?

Booth time starts at 3 hours as standard and you can take it up to 5 hours in half-hour steps. That is the time your guests can use the booth. On top of it we arrive about an hour before to set up and stay about an hour afterward to break down, so the booth is ready before your first guest reaches it and nothing is being packed away in front of them.

Is setup included in the price?

Yes. We do not just drop off equipment and disappear. We handle setup, stay on site during service time to assist with booth operations, and take care of breakdown afterward. An attendant is with the booth for your whole rental.

Do we have to buy prints?

No. Physical 4’’ x 6’’ prints are an add-on. Plenty of hosts run the booth digital-only and let guests take their photos straight from the booth, which also keeps the queue moving faster. If you do want prints, there is a standard printer and a high-speed one, and print timing varies: about 50 to 60 seconds per photo on the standard printer and about 15 to 20 seconds on the high-speed one.

Can we customize the photo layout and screens?

Yes, and you do it yourself rather than by email. Your prints carry your wording and your event date, set against themed graphics in the 2 colors you choose. You set all of that on the “App Experience” page in your dashboard and you see a picture of the finished print as you go, so you know exactly what your guests will be handed. You can keep changing it up to one month before your event.

How far in advance should we book?

The sooner, the better, especially for weddings and busy event seasons. You can see our availability for each package right on the booking form. There is one firm limit at the other end: we need at least 14 days before your event to take a booking. If your date is closer than that, email us anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it work.

Can we add the video guestbook?

Yes, and it is the most common combination we send out. Both experiences run from one station, so it takes no extra floor space at your venue, and you choose it on the booking form with the price updating as you go.

Not the question you had? The full list on our homepage covers booking, payment plans, prints, backdrops, travel and what happens on the day.
