Most people have never seen one
A traditional guestbook gets a name and, if you are lucky, a sentence. A video guestbook gets you your grandmother telling a story about your parents, your college roommate doing an impression, and your quietest cousin saying something you will replay for years.
It is a booth with a screen and a camera. A guest presses one button, answers a question you chose, and walks away. It takes them under a minute and it needs nothing from you on the night.
How it works on the night
An attendant is with the booth the whole time, so nobody has to work out what to do.
A guest steps up and presses one button
The screen shows them a prompt you chose, like "What is your best advice for the couple?" There is nothing to download and nothing to sign in to. An attendant is there the whole time to help anyone who hesitates.
They record a message in their own words
Each message can run up to 30 seconds, which is long enough for a story and short enough that nobody freezes. Some are heartfelt, some are funny, and a few turn into a whole performance. The booth records in high definition with proper audio, so you can actually hear what they said.

Your full gallery arrives digitally after the event. Every clip, downloadable, shareable, and yours to keep. No tape to transcribe and no cassette to find a player for.

A wedding video guestbook
Weddings are where a video guestbook earns its keep. Everyone in the room already knows the couple, most of them have travelled to be there, and almost none of them will write more than a name in a book. Give them a camera and a question instead and you get the toast your uncle was too nervous to make, the advice your grandmother would never put in writing, and the friends who cannot stop laughing long enough to finish a sentence.
It runs alongside the rest of your day rather than interrupting it. Most couples put the booth where the room is busiest, either through cocktail hour or the stretch of the reception after dinner, and an attendant keeps the queue moving so nobody misses the speeches.
Guests who would never sign a book
A book asks people to be eloquent on the spot with a pen. A camera asks them to talk, which almost everybody finds easier.

Your gallery is a link. It travels to the grandparent who could not fly and the friend whose flight was cancelled.

How it compares to an audio guestbook phone
You have probably seen the vintage telephone at a wedding. It is a lovely idea. This is the same idea with a camera on it.

What it costs
A video guestbook rental starts at $450, and that includes delivery, setup, an on-site attendant, breakdown and your full digital gallery. Adding the photo booth to the same booking brings the pair to $550.
Travel within 30 miles of East Orlando is included. Beyond that a standard travel fee of $1 per mile applies, and the booking form shows you the figure before you commit to anything.

What is a video guestbook?
A video guestbook is the modern take on the traditional sign-in book. Instead of writing a quick line on paper, your guests step up to our booth, press record, and leave you a short video message. They can share a favorite memory, a heartfelt wish, a funny story, or just say congratulations, all in their own voice and with their own face. By the end of the night you have a collection of personal video clips from the people who matter most, capturing their personalities and emotions in a way a signature never could.
Do we have to book the photo booth as well?
No. The video guestbook works as a standalone rental, and plenty of hosts book it on its own. Plenty of others book it alongside the photo booth so guests can do both at one station, which takes no extra floor space at your venue. You choose which experience you want on the booking form and the price updates as you go.
How long do you stay?
Booth time starts at 3 hours as standard and you can take it up to 5 hours in half-hour steps. That is the time your guests can use the booth. On top of it we arrive about an hour before to set up and stay about an hour afterward to break down, so the booth is ready before your first guest reaches it and nothing is being packed away in front of them.
How much space is needed for the setup?
We recommend a 10’ x 10’ space to give enough room for the backdrop, the booth, props and for guests to gather comfortably. We can adapt to some smaller spaces (minimum 8’ x 8’) if necessary. Just tell us about your room when you book and we will suggest the setup that fits it.
Is a power outlet needed?
Usually not. Our setup runs on its own internal power for events up to 4 hours. For anything longer we will ask for a standard 120V outlet within 15 feet. We bring our own extension cords and cable covers, so nothing is left trailing across your floor.
Can we choose the questions guests are asked?
Yes, and you do it yourself rather than by email. You pick your prompts when you book, and you can keep changing them from your dashboard up to one month before your event. The same page is where you set your colors and see your welcome screen before anyone else does.
Is there a limit on how many messages guests can leave?
No. There is no cap on the number of video messages and no per-clip charge. Guests keep recording for as long as the booth is running.
When do we get the videos?
While guests receive their individual captures instantly, you will receive a link to your full, high-resolution digital event gallery within 48 hours after your event. Every message is its own clip, ready to download and to share with anyone who could not be there.
