Rental Agreement & Terms of Service

This agreement applies to all Memory Booth rental bookings, whether completed through our online booking form or following a consultation.

Throughout this agreement, the term Client refers to the individual or party booking the Memory Booth rental. The term Provider refers to Joie Jae Memory Booth, operating under Joie Jae & Co. LLC. These terms are used consistently throughout this document.

BOOKING & PAYMENT

Your total event rental fee — including your base rental, any customization add-ons you select, and any applicable travel fee — is paid in full at the time of booking through our secure online booking process at booth.joiejae.com. This single payment secures your event date and finalizes your customization selections in one step, with all payments processed securely. This fee is subject to the refund terms outlined in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

BOOTH EQUIPMENT & USE

A Provider attendant will remain on-site during the full rental period to assist guests, operate the booth experience, and keep everything running smoothly from setup through breakdown. Setup and breakdown are handled entirely by the Provider and are included in the rental fee.

The Client agrees to ensure that guests use the booth equipment, props, and surrounding setup respectfully and safely. While our attendant monitors the booth area throughout the event, the Client remains responsible for any excessive damage, theft, misuse, or intentional destruction caused by guests or attendees during the event.

DIGITAL PHOTO & VIDEO GUESTBOOK

The Provider's Memory Booth allows guests to capture digital photos and record video messages through interactive prompts and a customized booth experience. There is no limit to the number of digital captures guests may take during service time. Guests receive their individual captures instantly via text or email directly from the booth. The Client will receive a link to the full high-resolution digital event gallery within 48 hours after the event concludes.

PHYSICAL PRINTS

Physical 4" x 6" prints are available as an add-on. The standard printer takes approximately 50–60 seconds per print. The high-speed printer takes approximately 15–20 seconds per print. Print volume packages establish a maximum number of prints per rental. Unused prints are not refundable or transferable. You can review print add-on options on our online booking form.

SPACE & POWER REQUIREMENTS

The Client is responsible for ensuring the venue can accommodate our setup. We recommend a minimum 10' x 10' space, though we can adapt to spaces as small as 8' x 8' when necessary. Our setup is self-sustained for events up to 4 hours. For events exceeding 4 hours, access to a standard 120V electrical power / power outlet within 15 feet is required.

For outdoor events, a flat and level surface with overhead coverage such as a tent, covered patio, or pavilion is required to protect equipment from direct sunlight, wind, and rain. If you have questions about your specific outdoor venue, please contact us.

TRAVEL

Travel within 30 miles of East Orlando is included in all rental packages. For events located beyond this radius, a standard travel fee of $1 per mile applies. Travel fees are calculated and displayed transparently during the online booking process at booth.joiejae.com.

TECHNICAL & EVENT CONDITIONS

The Provider will make every reasonable effort to keep the booth running without interruption throughout your event. However, the Provider is not responsible for service interruptions caused by venue power issues, internet connectivity problems, weather conditions, venue restrictions, or any circumstances outside of the Provider's reasonable control. In the rare event of a significant technical failure that cannot be resolved on-site, the Provider will offer a partial credit toward a future booking.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

All cancellations are subject to the terms outlined in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email. Your cancellation date is the date your written request is received.

COMPASSIONATE REVIEW

The Provider recognizes that some cancellations are caused by circumstances no schedule should decide. Where a death in the immediate family, a serious medical emergency, or a military deployment prevents the event from taking place, the Client may request a compassionate review in writing by email. The Provider will consider each request on a case-by-case basis and may ask for supporting documentation. Any relief offered is at the Provider’s sole discretion. It is a goodwill exception to the Cancellation & Refund Policy and does not modify it.

MEDIA RELEASE

The Client grants the Provider permission to use select event photos or behind-the-scenes content for promotional and marketing purposes, including social media and the company website, unless a written opt-out request is submitted prior to the event. Private guest video messages will never be publicly shared without express written permission from the Client.

LIABILITY

The Provider is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages that occur during the rental period as a result of guest conduct, venue conditions, or circumstances outside of the Provider's reasonable control. The Client assumes full responsibility for ensuring a safe environment for guests and for communicating any venue-specific restrictions or venue access requirements to the Provider prior to the event.

GOVERNING LAW

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be handled in Orange County, Florida.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By completing the booking process, including your customization selections and signature, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined in this Rental Agreement and the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
